New season – New clothes!

Hi everyone!

I have been looking around on a couple of fashion webshops recently. Fashion week is on full right now and we all know what that means. It’s time to upgrade our wardrobe with some knew styles!

It’s always nice to have a mix of affordable fashion statements and then invest in some good fashion pieces that last through seasons.

http://www.simons.ca/ has some pretty cool styles with a mix of everyday clothes and then some really cool designer clothes. I like that they have Vivienne Westwood, she makes everyday classic a little bit cooler.

http://www.simons.ca/ also has a lot of clothes that’s at affordable prices, so it’s easy to switch things up more often and at the same time with the designer clothes to invest in, it’s easy to invest and still have some fun things.

http://www.nastygal.com/ also has some cool stuff. I like the edgy twist and the mix between new things and vintage clothes.

As you can see I have really been liking everything black lately, it’s always class...

Update Your Home – Spring Cleaning!

Hi everyone!

Spring has arrived, I can’t believe it’s March already! With spring comes the annual spring cleaning, a way to make that a bit more fun is to get a few new bits for your home. An easy and inexpensive way to transform your home is to buy a few simple things like new bedding, shower curtains and cushions, to top everything get a great candle, this way you can keep the clean and fresh smell in your home a bit longer.

1. Shower Curtain | 2. Bed Sheets | 3. Cushions | 4. Candle

I found a few things that I really like. When it’s spring I want to pack away a few of the darker things in my home and get some light into my rooms.

I love the white shower curtain, this way the bathroom seems extra clean and light.

To bring extra light to the bedroom, get some light or white bed sheets. I really like beige as it won’t look dirty as quick as plain white.

Change a few cushions in your living room to give the room a new appearance every time you come home...

Reflecting On 2014

Hi everyone who is still with me!

Merry Christmas, I hope you had a wonderful time!

 photo christmasstar_zps78be9dc5.jpg

I have been gone from the blog for so long and I feel kind of bad. There isn’t really a good excuse, but I’m going to try anyway. I was in such a good and inspiring place the first half of 2014, then came summer and we were all so busy, then when autumn arrived I was in the process of moving and somehow during that I lost my inspiration. Now living at the new place I never really settled back into blogging.

This will definitely be a crazy and busy time, but I hope you would all like to share this new chapter with me.

I GOT IN.. The Academy Of Freelance Makeup!!

I want to thank everyone for reaching 400 followers! I haven’t been blogging as much as I would have liked to the last couple of weeks, but I have been moving and it took up much more time than I thought!

I Got In!!

aofm

I’m so excited to share that I GOT INTO THE ACADEMY OF FREELANCE MAKEUP!!! I’m starting their Complete Artistic Pro course in January, which is 5 intensive weeks of training, 6 days a week where you learn Makeup, Hairstyling, Nail Art, Airbrushing and Special FX.

The Academy Of Freelance Makeup in London

This school is the most amazing beauty school I have ever been looking at and it’s in London so I can’t wait to go back to London!

If we go back in time to around January where I got a lot of beauty books from the library and I found this amazing book named “Makeup Is Art” written by the AOFM and I first learned about the school. The book was so beautiful and inspiring, but I was sure I couldn’t afford a fancy school like this one.

A couple of months late...

Matrix Exquisite Oil Review!

Hi everyone!

So I’m one of those people who just can’t live without hair oil! Ever since hair oils came out and they suddenly became a big thing I was hooked.

 photo MatrixExquisiteOil_zps0622f0a9.jpg

I have tried a couple of different ones and I have to say my favorite so far is the Orofluido Beauty Elixir! It has the perfect texture, doesn’t make my fair greasy or heavy and it smells wonderful!

I have never tried the most famous of all hair oils, the Moroccanoil as I always thought it was a bit too expensive and then I read this blogpost from The Cupid Bow about the silicon in Moroccanoil and now I don’t want to try it.

The Matrix Exquisite Oil

I recently bought the Matrix Exquisite Oil on sale from Beautybay 50% off and have been using it ever since. The smell is again lovely (not as good as the Orofluido one) and it’s really easy to use as it comes with a little pump.

I do feel that I need to think about how much I use of this as my hair sometimes get a bit greasy from it and heavy, which is such a downside.

Rimmel 60 Seconds Rita Ora Nail Polishes Review!

Hi everyone!

I have been gone for a couple of weeks, but hopefully I’m back now. I have been enjoying summer, but also not feeling myself a 100% which is also why I haven’t taken much part in the Twitter Chats and other blogging activities, but it’s time to get back to reality now.

Rita Ora Nail Polishes

I recently bought two of the 60 Seconds Rita Ora Nail Polishes from Rimmel because the colors are so beautiful. You can get the perfect summer pastel colors, but the range also carry some lovely colors for fall.

I got Pillow Talk (the one I’m wearing in the picture) and White Hot Love (the lovely white color). I have been really impressed by the colors, they are so pigmented especially for such light colors and the staying power is great as well, which is around a week.

The only complain I have about these nail polishes is the brush, which is useless! I made a mess with both colors, but other than that I can only recommend them.

Have you tried this range of nail polishes?

Summer Update!

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to write a little update saying I’m still here. I haven’t been posting for a while since the weather here in Denmark has been amazing and I have been out all day not using my computer.

I have been up early going for runs, going to beach and had long summer nights outside with friends and family.

How To Move From Blogger to WordPress!

Hi everyone!

Today is going to be about how to move your blog from Blogger to WordPress. This guide is going to be for people who choose to buy a domain name and use WordPress CMS (also known as WordPress.org). If you are not sure what I’m talking about then check out my first post Introduction To WordPress – Thinking About Switching From Blogger?

 photo frombloggertowordpress_zps32ce0424.jpg

I’m going to start with listing the steps you will be going through before explaining each of them.

  1. Buy a domain name and webhotel
  2. Install WordPress
  3. Change the permalinks
  4. Import posts and comments from Blogger
  5. Setup a theme and pages
  6. Move your Bloglovin’ followers

Step 1: Buy a Domain Name

Start by buying a domain name and a webhotel to go with it. If you don’t know what a webhotel is, it’s the online space you buy to upload your things on the internet so it’s kind of like your “harddisk.” I use unoeuro.com which I’m happy with, but find one that works for you.

Step 2: Install WordPress

The cool thing about most hosting c...

OOTD: A Little Walk!

Hi everyone!

My new design has been live for two days now and people seems to like it, so thank you! I also got some new “profile” pictures for my sidebar and about page to go with my new theme.

 photo awalk_zpseea114f0.jpg

Today I’m doing another OOTD (or actually yesterday) and I’m really proud of myself for doing it. I still feel awkward in front of the camera, but you learn by doing so that’s what I’m going for.

I was out for a little walk with my mom and the weather kept changing between sun and clouds so it was really hard to dress for it. I got my mom to shoot a couple of outfit photos and I hope you like it.

This is just a little update and me looking for some feedback. I have done some major design changes today, removing my slideshow, changing my color scheme, got a new logo and social media buttons. I also hope that I will be able to change my “profile” pictures very soon.

I have a couple of screenshots from my new and old design together and I would love to get some honest feedback.
