Facts About Sunscreen and How Important It Is!

 photo sunprotection_zps81fa1c8b.jpg

Hi everyone!

Today I wanted to dedicate a blogpost to sun protection as summer is upon us! It’s such an important thing to remember no matter if you live a cold or warm place whether you get easy sunburned or not. I must admit I’m not always the best to remember using sunscreen especially doing winter times whereas summer I’m a bit better. I’m so thankful for the fact that a lot of foundations nowadays have SPF in them and I’m always wearing foundation out.

If you are a person who bikes to school or work and home again, like to go for a run, maybe do some shopping and have sensitive skin it’s important to remember sunscreen all year around even during winter, maybe an SPF 15.

It’s also important to remember to use a good amount otherwise your SPF 15 will become SPF 7 or something like that. Unfortunately no science have shown how long a sunscreen will last on the skin and it’s individual. Always just use sunscreen right before going out in the sun!

April Favorites 2014!

Hi everyone!

April is almost over and May is upon us! I’m so excited for summer approaching longer days and sunshine to come.

I don’t usually do monthly favorites because most of the time I stick to the same products. I haven’t done a favorite since January and I thought now was the time to do one again since I’m using some new products.

Base products

 photo aprilfavorites_zps114f8840.jpg

I started April with a little trip to Malaga where I got a sunburn, so ever since then I have been using a lot of my Marc Jacobs Dot body lotion, which smells so nice!

I have also been loving my Victoria Secret Body Spray a lot recently, maybe it’s because spring is upon us and I feel like doing a little more in the morning, but this product is definitely a favorite.

My Orofluido Beauty Elixir is almost empty and I have been using it after ever shower for my hair since I got it in December, it’s just amazing and I love the smell of it!

I also love my Elizabeth Arden deodorant, I just love the fresh smell and I love how it’s l...

L’Oréal True Match Foundation Review!

 photo lorealtruematchfoundation_zps0bdfeefd.jpg

Hi everyone!

Today I’m doing a review on L’Oréal True Match Foundation. I have been reading and hearing about this foundation for ages, but never tried it myself. I don’t usually use L’Oréal, the reason for that is; I think it’s a bit expensive for being drugstore when I compare it to Maybelline and Rimmel and I don’t think it’s better. That’s why I always end up with Rimmel or Maybelline products when shopping.

Outlet with L’Oréal

I was recently at an outlet here in Denmark where L’Oréal had a huge sale with around 80% off and the women working there were really nice. I decided that now was the time to try the foundation and I could get help with the right color directly from L’Oréal.

I ended up with three of these foundations as I got a packed deal for a total of 10 pounds, which is a great price! The woman at L’Oréal suggested that I got the color D2-W2, which is really light with a yellowish undertone.

My Daily Makeup!

Hi beautiful people!

Happy Easter everyone! I hope you are all having fun, enjoying some time off and are eating chocolate.

 photo whatisonmyface_zps5fabd4c4.jpg

I always like to see what makeup people are wearing on a daily basis, some people like a full face of makeup and other just a bit of mascara and concealer. I personally have a full face of makeup for two reasons; one being bad skin that I can cover up and another that I love to experiment with makeup and enjoy the time in front of the mirror in the morning.

My Daily Makeup

I usually start with my Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, then I go over to my Mac Select Cover Up concealer and set everything with my Rimmel Stay Matte powder. I then like using Bourjois Bronzing Powder for either contouring or bronzer, it depends on what I feel like doing that day.

 photo baseproducts_zps3d8f1415.jpg

For eyes I switch between my Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo or my Mac Showstopper Palette depending on time. I then like using Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara and their Falsies mascara to finish the eyes.

Malaga Airport Haul!

 photo airporthaul_zps4bb4a457.jpg

I recently returned from a little vacation in Malaga. One of the great things about traveling is the airport shopping! The airport in Malaga was medium size so they had a lot of different things to buy, but I actually didn’t end up buying much.

They had a big perfume and beauty part where you could buy Mac, Bobbi Brown, Chanel, etc. I didn’t buy any makeup because of the deal with 25% off everything in a department store here in Denmark, which was a better deal than what the airport could offer.

I also didn’t buy any perfumes, the last couple of times I bought perfumes at the airport, I bought them in Stansted London and the prices there were just better than in Malaga.

The first part of the shopping was a bit of a disappointment since I didn’t buy any beauty products, but then I saw a little part with Body Shop products, which is really expensive in Denmark.

Mac Haul!

Hi everyone!

I was so excited this weekend when my local Mac counter had 25% discount on all Mac products. I saw this as my opportunity to expand my Mac collection and try some new products. I don’t own much Mac and I still haven’t tried any of their lipsticks since I feel like my drugstore lipsticks are great and I don’t need any new colors.

Mac Concealers

 photo macselectcover-up_zps5f234da8.jpg

I had been looking at some of the Mac concealers. I already have Mac Studio Sculpt Concealer which I really like, but I think it’s a bit unhygienic that you either have to put your finger or brush down the concealer and then use it on a blemish whereafter you take some more concealer just to rub all the bacterias around in there, with your finger or brush again.

Mac Select Cover Up

I have been struggling with really bad breakouts around my mouth for a couple of months now and thought about trying a concealer where you press the product out of the tube, which will minimize the bacterias...

Favorite Rimmel Products

 photo favorite-rimmel-products_zps000f4cb0.jpg

Hi everyone!

I have done a couple of critical reviews on Rimmel products (Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation) (Rimmel Scandaleyes Show Off), which makes it seems like I don’t like Rimmel when it’s actually my favorite high street brand! Today I decided I wanted to do a favorite Rimmel products post to share what I really like from them.

Rimmel Base Products

 photo rimmel-wake-me-up_zpse7e52f68.jpg

I really like Rimmel’s base products! I have been using the Wake Me Up Foundation ever since it was launched, I just wish it came in more colors including a lighter one. Hide the Blemish Concealer is one of my favorite concealers, which I have been using for years since I was a teen and it’s perfect for hiding blemishes.

 photo rimmelstaymattepowder_zps2536d0c2.jpg

Who doesn’t love the Stay Matte Powder? I think I have been using this powder for at least five years maybe even more, the product is great and you can’t beat the price. The only downside to this product is the problem with carrying it around, no mirror and bad container.

Rimmel Eyeliners

I also love the...

Zoeva Brushes Review!

Hi everyone!

I’m really excited to share my Zoeva Brushes Review with all of you today! First of all I’m pretty sure I’m addicted to makeup brushes, but that’s because I don’t care about expensive makeup as long as you got good brushes to work with!

 photo zoevabrushes_zps4bc6428d.jpg

I have been wanting to try these brushes for so long, but I thought the delivery was a bit expensive €7,5 so when my friend and I both wanted to try them we decided to order together and share the delivery cost. We looked at a lot of pages to find the best prices and buying directly from Zoeva was just the most inexpensive solution!

 photo zoevabrushbag_zpsdb3b3f59.jpg

I got six brushes, where most of them are made from a combination of natural and synthetic hair. I have almost all the Real Techniques brushes, which are all synthetic and I really wanted some brushes with natural hair because they pick up pigment in another way.

From left I got number 105 (Luxe Highlighter), 110 (Face Shape), 227 (Soft Definer), 234 (Smokey Shader), 230 (Pencil) and 315 (Fine Li...

The Body Shop Haul!

Hi everyone!

Today I wanted to do a little haul. I have never been into The Body Shop’s products even though a couple of my friends love them. I tried some of the makeup and the brushes from them at a friend’s house and I really hated the things, they were also a bit expensive compared to a lot of products (at least in Denmark). After joining one of the #bbloggers chat where everyone was talking about the Overnight Vitamin E Serum I finally decided to try some face products (besides the cleansing balm I got from Christmas).

 photo thebodyshophaul_zps1aa8bd6b.jpg

I went online and bought everything because the discount online is a lot better than buying in store and then I got free delivery so it was just a better deal.

Overnight Vitamin E Serum

 photo thebodyshopvitamineserum_zpsf9c586e7.jpg

I of course bought the Overnight Vitamin E Serum that everyone was talking about and so far I really like it. I have a couple of red spots around my face so I really hope the Vitamin E will work on them...

Lush Products

Hi everyone!

Today I wanted to share my Lush products and my thoughts on them. When I lived in London I always used to visit a Lush store ever other week or something, it was really overwhelming not knowing all the products and being new to everything. I now own two toner waters, the Grease Lighting Spot Treatment and a lip scrub.

 photo lushproducts_zpsd1e38516.jpg

Lush Grease Lighting Spot Treatment

The Grease Lighting Spot Treatment was actually my first buy when I came to London. I really like this product and I did a review back when I bought it. This product is great for spots, it’s a light gel with tea tree in it. The cool thing about this is that you can use it at night or under your makeup in the morning because it doesn’t crease. Definitely a must try!

Lush Tea Tree Water Toner

Later on I bought the Tea Tree Water toner, which is a toner you can spray directly onto your face, again containing tea tree great for combination skin...
