Lindsey Kelk – The Single Girl’s To-Do List Review!

Hi everyone!

I know I just did a review on Lindsey Kelk’s book “About a Girl” but I just love her books so much that I got started right on “The Single Girl’s To-Do List” and read over the weekend last week. I think I might actually like this book better if it’s possible.

The Single Girl’s To-Do List is about Rachel Summers, a London based makeup artist who has everything figured out. She’s got a boyfriend, flat and a great job, but then one day her boyfriend wants to take a break and soon dumpes her.

Rachel doesn’t know what to do with herself, so she and her friends get drunk and write a single girl’s to-do list of all the things she has to do over the next two weeks.

The list takes Rachel on an amazing journey and transforms her into a new better self and she might end up finding the love of her life.

An Amazing Book!

I loved everything about this book...

Lindsey Kelk – About A Girl Review!

Hi everyone!

As some of you might know I really like Lindsey Kelk’s “I Heart series”. Lindsey Kelk is a British author living in New York City and she has written an amazing series about Angela Clark’s escape from London to New York City. I have a review on the first book in the series “I Heart New York” and the second book “I Heart Hollywood”, but I did read the entire series!

Lindsey Kelk’s Writing

I love Lindsey Kelk’s fun and easy writing style, she writes the perfect chick lit books! They are a good combination between Sex and the City and Bridget Jones. That’s why I decided I wanted to read her book “About A Girl” and I knew the second book “What A Girl Wants” was on its way and I’m so glad I read “About A Girl”!

About A Girl Review

In “About A Girl” we meet Tess Brookes, who gets fired from her job and after accidentally answering her flatmate Vanessa’s phone, she decides that since being Tess isn’t going so well, she might try being Vanessa...

The Fault in Our Stars Movie Review!

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven’t been doing any new blogposts the last week or so. I have just been feeling a bit uninspired and been enjoying the good weather here in Denmark. I will be back to blogging normally again (hopefully)!

On another note I just reached 300 followers on Bloglovin and I just want to thank every one of you for reading, following and commenting on the blog!

The book and premiere of the movie

Back to what this blogpost is actually about! I went to the pre-premier of “The Fault in Our Stars” yesterday and it was amazing. The cinema was filled with exciting girls and not a seat was empty. It’s always fun to watch a movie where everyone is really excited.

I read the book between Christmas and New Year and did a review The Fault in Our Stars Review in the beginning of 2014. Having read the book made me even more excited and I can say I think they did the movie amazing by the book...

Divergent Review!

Divergent finally opened in Denmark today! I have been so excited since I read the book back in 2012 and I have just been waiting and waiting and waiting ever since. Today was the day I finally got to watch the film and I’m so happy.

Actors and actresses

I’m really happy by with the actors and actresses they choose for this movie! I was a bit skeptical about Theo James as Four to begin with, but he did such a good job that I ended up loving him. The movie also includes Shailene Woodley (main character Tris), Miles Tiller, Kate Winslet, Tony Goldwyn, Ansel Elgort and Maggie Q and I especially love Maggie Q (brilliant as Nikita).

Review of Divergent

I think the screen writers did a great job of capturing the book and I don’t feel like they missed some major parts of the book like with Harry Potter and Twilight...

TV Series Guide – Supernatural Shows

Hi everyone!

It’s been a week since my last post, time goes by so fast I can’t believe it! Today I decided that I wanted to do a little blogpost series named “TV Series Guide.” I watch a lot of TV shows, some may say I’m addicted, but I love a little drama. Today’s post will be the first in the series and it’s dedicated to supernatural kind of shows, so if you like a bit of monsters, vampires and werewolf keep reading! Don’t worry, I won’t have any spoilers just a description and my personal opinion of each show.

Arrow is about Oliver Queen, a billionaire playboy who goes missing and presumed dead after his yacht goes down at sea. He returns five years later as a hooded vigilante with a bow an arrow.

This is definitely one of my favorite shows right now. It’s not really a supernatural show, but it’s a part of DC Comics universe, which is kind of supernatural with all the superheroes.

If you know and love Batman this ...

Elle and Blair Fowler – Where Beauty Lies Review!

Today I wanted to do a book review. The famous vlogger and blogger Elle and Blair Fowler released their second book back in August named “Where Beauty Lies.” I ordered my book back in August and after waiting forever because it was sold out and later lost in the mail I finally got it Mid-September. By that time I was really invested in the “I Heart Series” by Lindsey Kelk, but in the end I finally came around to read it. Just wanted to say the book is as beautiful as the first one!

Beneath the Glitter & Where Beauty Lies

If you don’t know the series it’s about the London sisters Sophia and Ava London. They are Youtube stars, who moved to L.A. to work on their brand London Calling. They are also “It” girls, releasing beauty products and clothes (sounds similar, just like Elle and Blair).

The book continues just shortly after the first one left of...

The Fault in Our Stars Review

It seems like John Green’s book “The Fault in Our Stars” is the book everyone is reading and talking about. It was a hit in 2012 and 2013 and with the movie coming this summer staring Shailene Woodley, I’m sure everyone will keep talking about it.

I decided to read it between Christmas and New Year, so here goes my review on The Fault in Our Stars.

the fault in our stars book review

For those of you who don’t know the story, it’s about a 16 year-old girl named Hazel. She was diagnosed with cancer when she was 13 year-old. One day when she attends a support group for cancer kids, she meets Augustus Waters a good looking guy who also suffers from cancer.

When I first started reading the book I had this idea about how everything was going to go and end, but I was taken by surprise and nothing was like I expected it. I really liked the book, it was good and easily written...

Lindsey Kelk – I Heart Hollywood

Hi everyone!

I recently did a book review on Lindsey Kelk “I Heart New York.” I loved that book so much I ordered the next one as fast as I could. This weekend I finished Lindsey Kelk “I Heart Hollywood” and I loved it just as much.

Here is a quick summary

Angela Clark is living in New York with her new best friend and the best boyfriend she can think of. Her job at The Look magazine is going amazing, when they offer her a week paid in Hollywood to interview the famous British actor James Jacobs.

Angela Clark discovers that life in Hollywood is not all glamour and ends up in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

My thoughts

lindsey kelk i heart hollywood

I really enjoy reading about Angels Clark’s universe. I was kind of sad that the book leaves New York, but I did know that from the title.

When Angela arrives in Hollywood she isn’t in love with the city the same way she was with New York and that kinds of sets the tone for the book...

Book Review – Lindsey Kelk “I Heart New York”

It’s been some time now since I did a book review last. I have since been reading in a couple of books, but I finally finished Lindsey Kelk “I Heart New York”.

This book was recommended to me by a lovely Twitter friend and since I was in London I thought I had to buy it (Lindsey Kelk is from England, maybe London).

The book is about Angela Clark who ends up at the worst wedding ever! She leaves London the day after to go to New York, which she falls absolutely in love with!

She gets a makeover, meets two hot guys, gets new friends and starts a blog. The question is does she love New York more than her home London?

I loved the book! It was such a light fun and girly book. People who loved Lauren Conrad’s books will love this one too. I also reviewed Infamous here.

Its Bridget Jones meets Sex and the City. I really enjoyed reading a little bit every night and sometimes morning. I have just ordered “I Heart Hollywood” on amazon which is now on the way to me!

My only problem i...
