The Internship – Movie Review

My brother came home from his vacation yesterday and we were both bored a bit so we decided to go to the cinema, we wanted to watch a fun movie and that’s why we went for The Internship.

I was quite surprised with it since I’m not a fan of Vince Vaughn or Owen Wilson and I don’t like their movie Wedding Crashers, but I just can’t resist a movie about Google and it also has Dylan O’Brien from Teen Wolf in it. I love Dylan O’Brien and if you for some reason don’t know who he is you will definitely know next year around February when The Maze Runner will be in the cinema with him as the leading character Thomas.

Back to the movie, I’m so glad that I saw the movie, it was a joy and all the actors did a great job. Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson will never be my favorites and they were a bit annoying at times, but overall it was a good and fun movie that I would recommend.

Just on a site note have any of you read The Maze Runner trilogy...

Thursday Tune – Burn

It’s Thursday which means a Thursday Tune and since I bought tickets to The Pretty Reckless’s concert in London yesterday I wanted to share one of their songs, or it’s really not a song it’s just a clip from a song called Burn from the album Going To Hell. I think the album will be out in August so I hope I can get it before the concert to hear all the new songs.

Here is “Burn” by The Pretty Reckless from the album Going To Hell.

I hope you liked this little acoustic clip, leave a comment below telling me your thoughts and any song suggestions!

H&M Haul and Concert Tickets

Hi lovely people!
Here goes another haul! I was at the library today to pick up Insurgent which I told you in my last book review The Perks of Being a Wallflower that I would be reading as my next book.

Afterwards I was at H&M to see all their sales and I found to small things I just got to have, first this cute hat which was 2,5 pounds (before 13,5 pounds) and an Ipad case which was about one pound (before eight pounds), I think they were great offers!

I also bought a ticket to see The Pretty Reckless at the Electric Ballroom in London on August 22nd since I will be London anyway and it’s close to my internship. Well, now I just hope that the ticket will arrive before I leave for London, and if you know anyone who are going alone too then please tell me in the comments below.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower Book Review!

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! In Denmark the weather is finally looking good so I was outside all Sunday reading.

I finished The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Christina from wrote a review of the movie on the blog last month. Since I loved the movie so much I decided that I had to read the book, so here goes my second book review on the blog. I reviewed Infamous by Lauren Conrad last Monday if you want to check that out click here.

If you are not familiar with The Perks of Being a Wallflower, it’s about a boy named Charlie who has a mental illness and since he doesn’t have too many friends he decided to write about his first year in High School through letters to a friend, which is the person who reads the book.

I really liked the book, it’s a short one and Charlie is just so lovable that you just want to give him a big hug through the book. He has the biggest heart for everyone around him, but he seems to get in trouble because of it...

Thursday Tune – Love Is Blindness

This week Thursday Tune is “Love Is Blindness” by Jack White. I know this song has been out for a while now like since 2012, but I still love it. It’s no secret that it’s a popularly song because of “The Great Gatsby” which btw. is a great movie if you haven’t watched it yet. I almost like the entire Blunderbuss album by Jack White where this song is from, so if you like “Love Is Blindness” you should definitely check Blunderbuss out!

This song was originally a U2 song, but I think Jack White did an amazing job and I like his version better, but they are two totally different ways of during the song!

Infamous – Review!

Hi everyone!

I’m so happy today, because I just got awarded with an Erasmus Grant for my Intership in London, this will make life so much easier in London!

Well back to the heading! I finished Infamous by Lauren Conrad on Saturday, which I told you last week I had finally arrived in my mailbox!

Overall I loved the book and I thought it was a good ending to the series. It was a light written book, really easy and fast to get through. It was exactly what I had expected and what I wanted from the book.

I really liked Madison’s storyline and her transformation through both L.A. Candy and The Fame Game. I also still like Gaby, but she almost didn’t have a storyline in this book.

On the bad side I never really got into the storyline of Kate and Carmen, the way I did with Jane and Scarlett in L.A. Candy, I only really enjoyed reading about them when they were with Madison.

I gave the book four out of five stars on Goodreads because I enjoyed it and got what I expected...

Hello everyone,

I’m Christina from Today I’m going to be guest blogging right here on Tanja’s blog.

I thought I would give you a review of the movie “The Perks Of Being Wallflower.”

The movie is about the Wallflower Charlie, played by the wonderful Logan Lerman. It is Charlie’s first year at High School and the movie is following him through this year. He has a mental illness and the year before he lost his only friend who committed suicide. Charlie is so socially awkward, but is determined to find friends, here he makes friends with a boy called Patrick, played by Ezra Miller. Patrick brings Charlie into his group of friends and it is here he meets Patrick’s sister, Sam, played by the ever so wonderful Emma Watson. They call their gang the “The Island of Misfit Toys...

Thursday Tune – You Can’t Judge A Book By The Cover

For this week Thursday Tune I have chosen a song by The Strypes. It’s a small Irish band that made some covers of old songs and are now beginning to make their own. The band is signed to Sir Elton John’s Rocket Music management company (the same place as Ed Sheeran). I really like their version of “You Can’t Judge A Book By The Cover” which was originally performed by Bo Diddley.

What did you think of this song?

Infamous – by Lauren Conrad

 photo laurenconradfamegameseries_zpse0c14675.jpg

I finally got Infamous by Lauren Conrad. It’s the last book in her “The Fame Game” series and I can’t wait to get started! It is an exam present from myself, I just have to finish one other book before I can get started and then you can look forward to a review coming on Infamous!

Over time my Lauren Conrad books have grown a bit and I only need two other books to have them all, even though I have read them all (except of course Infamous). I can recommend them all if you are in for a light read with gossip, reality, scandals and fun.

Elle Magazine

Hi everyone!

Today I was thinking about which magazines are your favorites?

I’m subscribed to Elle Magazine here in Denmark, it’s my favorite because it’s filled with fashion and beauty and it has interviews with many smart women from the entire world. I also think that Elle does the best fashion shootings of all the magazines in Denmark.

We probably don’t have as many different fashion and women’s magazine to choose from compared to the rest of the world, but we do have quite a bit to choose from and I just like Elle best.

Elle, Magazine, Denmark

Which magazine do you like the best and what can you recommend?
