The Fault in Our Stars Review

It seems like John Green’s book “The Fault in Our Stars” is the book everyone is reading and talking about. It was a hit in 2012 and 2013 and with the movie coming this summer staring Shailene Woodley, I’m sure everyone will keep talking about it.

I decided to read it between Christmas and New Year, so here goes my review on The Fault in Our Stars.

the fault in our stars book review

For those of you who don’t know the story, it’s about a 16 year-old girl named Hazel. She was diagnosed with cancer when she was 13 year-old. One day when she attends a support group for cancer kids, she meets Augustus Waters a good looking guy who also suffers from cancer.

When I first started reading the book I had this idea about how everything was going to go and end, but I was taken by surprise and nothing was like I expected it. I really liked the book, it was good and easily written. It was definitely not as sad as I expected it to be because I feel like everyone had come to terms with how there lives would turn out and they did everything to make every day special.

The book is filled with fun and sad moments and it has some really good quotes everywhere. My favourite quote the book is “I fell in love the way you fall asleep, slowly and then all at once” I really this quote describes the book perfectly.

Have you read “The Fault in Our Stars”?
