OOTD: Only Playsuit For A Brunch!

Hi everyone!

Today I’m sharing a little OOTD, which I haven’t done many times before. I don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera yet and I always find posing so weird!

I went out for a little brunch/lunch with my lovely friend Christina Thorup today and she captured a couple of pictures of me.

The weather started out a bit grey, but as the day went by the weather got better and the sun came out.

Playsuit: Only || Shoes: Monki || Jewelry: Erbs Denmark || Sunglasses: Erbs Denmark || Watch: Guess

I wore a playsuit with tights, but when the sun came out I could have done with some sandals and no tights, it’s always hard to figure out what to wear in North Europe during summer.

What do you think of my outfit?

Erbs Denmark Jewelry Haul!

Hi everyone!

Today is a little jewelry haul, it’s been a while since I have done a haul. This week I went to a huge sale at a Danish brand named Erbs Denmark. They make sunglasses, accessorizes, bags, scarves and underwear and I always got compliments whenever I was wearing their jewelry while living in London.

I ended up with two statement necklaces, a few rings and a pair of earrings. I always wanted to wear more statement necklaces so I invested in two I think can be used for everyday and a party.

Statement Necklaces

The first one is a gold necklace, I think is perfect for everyday as it isn’t to girly, but it’s also perfect to give an edgy feeling to a fancy party outfit. It also goes well with the rings and the earrings I bought.

The second necklace is a grey kind of necklace, which I again think is perfect for everyday as well as a party outfit.

Gold Ringes

I also got a few rings and they go so well together when wearing all of them at the same time...

Hi everyone!

Today I want to discuss Pinterest. I’m really into Pinterest at the moment, I have had my Pinterest for a couple of years now, but sometimes I just use it more than other times.

What I Love About Pinterest!

I love Pinterest for personal use as well as for my blog. For personal use I think it’s great to find inspiration, I always use it to find pictures of different things. Instead of doing a Google image search I will be doing a Pinterest search. The reason this is often better is that Google is filled with things from the entire internet whereas Pinterest is filled with the things people have pinned, liked and repinned.

I also like the way you can get a better and more precise search on Pinterest. If you search for a celebrity, it will come up with ideas to narrow it down based on what other people have been looking for like makeup, body, haircut, 2013, 2014, style, etc.

People are often discussing doing Twitter chats it they should use Pint...

Battle Of The Eyeliners!

Hi everyone!

Today I’m doing a little high end versus drugstore gel eyeliners. I will be comparing Lancôme Long Wear Calligraphy Gel EyeLiner and Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner.

Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Eyeliner

The Maybelline eyeliner is around £8 and is a highly popular eyeliner. The texture of the eyeliner is perfect, it’s not too hard or fluid, but just right and easy to work with. It’s really pigmented and the result is great!

Lancôme Long Wear Gel Eyeliner

The Lancôme eyeliner is around £20 and it’s not as well-known as other gel eyeliners like Maybelline, Mac and Bobbi Brown. I got this eyeliner for only £5 at a sale, which is the only reason why I bought it.

In the beginning I didn’t like much since I thought it was a too hard to work with as it’s a bit more stiff than the Maybelline one and I was used to Maybelline. The color payoff is the same as with the Maybelline one, so I wasn’t really impressed.

Which is better?

Here comes the re...

Lindsey Kelk – The Single Girl’s To-Do List Review!

Hi everyone!

I know I just did a review on Lindsey Kelk’s book “About a Girl” but I just love her books so much that I got started right on “The Single Girl’s To-Do List” and read over the weekend last week. I think I might actually like this book better if it’s possible.

The Single Girl’s To-Do List is about Rachel Summers, a London based makeup artist who has everything figured out. She’s got a boyfriend, flat and a great job, but then one day her boyfriend wants to take a break and soon dumpes her.

Rachel doesn’t know what to do with herself, so she and her friends get drunk and write a single girl’s to-do list of all the things she has to do over the next two weeks.

The list takes Rachel on an amazing journey and transforms her into a new better self and she might end up finding the love of her life.

An Amazing Book!

I loved everything about this book...

Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Review!

Hi everyone!

Today I’m sharing my experience with the Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skincare series. I bought the entire line for combination skin back in January on sale where I got 50% off everything.

I have been trying it out ever since and I’m now ready to do a review, as I feel like I have used for a long time now.

I have actually gone through the entire series and used every single product up.

Products In The Series!

The series starts with an exfoliating cleanser, which feels nice and it’s not too hard on the skin so you can easily use it every day.

You then use a toner to remove anything extra on the skin. I don’t feel like this toner is special in any way as it just feels and smells like a normal toner.

You then use the skin serum, which I didn’t like at all. This was the first serum I ever used and I didn’t really get the point of it...

New In: Asos Sandals!

Hi everyone!

Today I wanted to share my new sandals! This might seem a bit weird, but I’m not good at finding shoes during summer I’m more of a winter and boots kind of girl.

This post is also a bit different from my usual blogposts as it’s more fashion related than beauty related.

I have an idea or plan to make some more fashion blogposts later on this year (I hope), I just need to find the confident to do it and actually feel like my outfits are worth showing.

I bought my sandals of Asos and it’s my first ever Asos buy, so I can now officially be called a blogger because I feel like every blogger always find their things on Asos.

I bought these shoes in a size 3 and they are the perfect size and comfortable walking in. Does anyone have any advice for buying clothes from Asos, I’m not good at buying clothes online because I never know which size to choose?

What do you think of the sandals?

Lindsey Kelk – About A Girl Review!

Hi everyone!

As some of you might know I really like Lindsey Kelk’s “I Heart series”. Lindsey Kelk is a British author living in New York City and she has written an amazing series about Angela Clark’s escape from London to New York City. I have a review on the first book in the series “I Heart New York” and the second book “I Heart Hollywood”, but I did read the entire series!

Lindsey Kelk’s Writing

I love Lindsey Kelk’s fun and easy writing style, she writes the perfect chick lit books! They are a good combination between Sex and the City and Bridget Jones. That’s why I decided I wanted to read her book “About A Girl” and I knew the second book “What A Girl Wants” was on its way and I’m so glad I read “About A Girl”!

About A Girl Review

In “About A Girl” we meet Tess Brookes, who gets fired from her job and after accidentally answering her flatmate Vanessa’s phone, she decides that since being Tess isn’t going so well, she might try being Vanessa...

My Haircare Routine!

Hi everyone!

Today I thought I would do a little haircare routine blogpost. My haircare routine at the moment is a bit over the top as I’m trying to get through some products to make room for some new.

Heat and UV Protection

I do my haircare routine when I get out of the shower and my hair is still wet. I start by using Tresemme Heat Protection spray and then I use Senscience Brilliant Defense Protective Shine Spray, which is an UV protection spray I add during summer.

I wouldn’t want to be without my Tresemme Heat Protection because I really feel like it makes such a difference, but I don’t know about the Senscience Protective Spray it feels and smells amazing, but I’m not sure it makes a difference, so I probably won’t be repurchasing it.

I then add my Matthew James Leave in Hair Mask this product feels great, but it’s one of those products I just want to use up and I won’t be repurchasing it.

Hair Oil and Scalp Relief

I then add my Orofluido Beauty Elixir, which i...

May Spending Ban Update!

Hi everyone!

As some of you might know I started a May Spending Ban in the beginning of May and now that it’s June I thought I would do a little update so you know how it went.

It went okay it could have been better, but I’m happy with how it went. I ended up buying a mother’s day gift, hair powder, hair oil and a pair of sunglasses (I have a subscription to Elle Magazine so that’s not part of what I bought).

Mother’s Day Gift

I don’t seeing buying a mother’s day gift as breaking my spending ban since it was a gift and not just another thing for myself. I used some money on some nice natural and organic spa products for my mom.

Matrix Hair Oil

I then bought Matrix Biolage Exquisite Oil on Beautybay because they had 50% of this hair oil. I’m almost out of my Orofluido hair oil and I can’t live without some kind of oil...
