Lindsey Kelk – The Single Girl’s To-Do List Review!

Hi everyone!

I know I just did a review on Lindsey Kelk’s book “About a Girl” but I just love her books so much that I got started right on “The Single Girl’s To-Do List” and read over the weekend last week. I think I might actually like this book better if it’s possible.

The Single Girl’s To-Do List is about Rachel Summers, a London based makeup artist who has everything figured out. She’s got a boyfriend, flat and a great job, but then one day her boyfriend wants to take a break and soon dumpes her.

Rachel doesn’t know what to do with herself, so she and her friends get drunk and write a single girl’s to-do list of all the things she has to do over the next two weeks.

The list takes Rachel on an amazing journey and transforms her into a new better self and she might end up finding the love of her life.

An Amazing Book!

I loved everything about this book...

Lindsey Kelk – About A Girl Review!

Hi everyone!

As some of you might know I really like Lindsey Kelk’s “I Heart series”. Lindsey Kelk is a British author living in New York City and she has written an amazing series about Angela Clark’s escape from London to New York City. I have a review on the first book in the series “I Heart New York” and the second book “I Heart Hollywood”, but I did read the entire series!

Lindsey Kelk’s Writing

I love Lindsey Kelk’s fun and easy writing style, she writes the perfect chick lit books! They are a good combination between Sex and the City and Bridget Jones. That’s why I decided I wanted to read her book “About A Girl” and I knew the second book “What A Girl Wants” was on its way and I’m so glad I read “About A Girl”!

About A Girl Review

In “About A Girl” we meet Tess Brookes, who gets fired from her job and after accidentally answering her flatmate Vanessa’s phone, she decides that since being Tess isn’t going so well, she might try being Vanessa...

Elle and Blair Fowler – Where Beauty Lies Review!

Today I wanted to do a book review. The famous vlogger and blogger Elle and Blair Fowler released their second book back in August named “Where Beauty Lies.” I ordered my book back in August and after waiting forever because it was sold out and later lost in the mail I finally got it Mid-September. By that time I was really invested in the “I Heart Series” by Lindsey Kelk, but in the end I finally came around to read it. Just wanted to say the book is as beautiful as the first one!

Beneath the Glitter & Where Beauty Lies

If you don’t know the series it’s about the London sisters Sophia and Ava London. They are Youtube stars, who moved to L.A. to work on their brand London Calling. They are also “It” girls, releasing beauty products and clothes (sounds similar, just like Elle and Blair).

The book continues just shortly after the first one left of...

Book Review – Lindsey Kelk “I Heart New York”

It’s been some time now since I did a book review last. I have since been reading in a couple of books, but I finally finished Lindsey Kelk “I Heart New York”.

This book was recommended to me by a lovely Twitter friend and since I was in London I thought I had to buy it (Lindsey Kelk is from England, maybe London).

The book is about Angela Clark who ends up at the worst wedding ever! She leaves London the day after to go to New York, which she falls absolutely in love with!

She gets a makeover, meets two hot guys, gets new friends and starts a blog. The question is does she love New York more than her home London?

I loved the book! It was such a light fun and girly book. People who loved Lauren Conrad’s books will love this one too. I also reviewed Infamous here.

Its Bridget Jones meets Sex and the City. I really enjoyed reading a little bit every night and sometimes morning. I have just ordered “I Heart Hollywood” on amazon which is now on the way to me!

My only problem i...

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! In Denmark the weather is finally looking good so I was outside all Sunday reading.

I finished The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Christina from wrote a review of the movie on the blog last month. Since I loved the movie so much I decided that I had to read the book, so here goes my second book review on the blog. I reviewed Infamous by Lauren Conrad last Monday if you want to check that out click here.

If you are not familiar with The Perks of Being a Wallflower, it’s about a boy named Charlie who has a mental illness and since he doesn’t have too many friends he decided to write about his first year in High School through letters to a friend, which is the person who reads the book.

I really liked the book, it’s a short one and Charlie is just so lovable that you just want to give him a big hug through the book. He has the biggest heart for everyone around him, but he seems to get in trouble because of it...
