Battle Of The Eyeliners!

Hi everyone!

Today I’m doing a little high end versus drugstore gel eyeliners. I will be comparing Lancôme Long Wear Calligraphy Gel EyeLiner and Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner.

Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Eyeliner

The Maybelline eyeliner is around £8 and is a highly popular eyeliner. The texture of the eyeliner is perfect, it’s not too hard or fluid, but just right and easy to work with. It’s really pigmented and the result is great!

Lancôme Long Wear Gel Eyeliner

The Lancôme eyeliner is around £20 and it’s not as well-known as other gel eyeliners like Maybelline, Mac and Bobbi Brown. I got this eyeliner for only £5 at a sale, which is the only reason why I bought it.

In the beginning I didn’t like much since I thought it was a too hard to work with as it’s a bit more stiff than the Maybelline one and I was used to Maybelline. The color payoff is the same as with the Maybelline one, so I wasn’t really impressed.

Which is better?

Here comes the re...

My Favorite Mascaras!

Hi everyone!

Today I really wanted to share my favorite mascaras with you all! I think mascara is the most important product in a makeup look and I would love to hear more about which ones are your favorites!

Lancôme Definicils Mascara

I used to buy more expensive mascaras, but now I’m only buying drugstores because they are so good! Lancôme Hypnôse Drama Mascara used to be my favorite mascara, it’s perfect for long and full lashes, but it’s also really expensive.

I now have the Lancôme Definicils Mascara, which I probably won’t repurchase, but since I have it I’m loving it for the lower lashes. The brush is tiny and it’s great for details, it’s also good for the lashes in the inner corners because it gives so much control.

Maybelline The Falsies

Maybelline The Falsies is a blogger favorite and I love it as well! I love length it gives and you can build it up for fuller looking lashes. It’s also really easy to use and the brush gives such a good control...

April Favorites 2014!

Hi everyone!

April is almost over and May is upon us! I’m so excited for summer approaching longer days and sunshine to come.

I don’t usually do monthly favorites because most of the time I stick to the same products. I haven’t done a favorite since January and I thought now was the time to do one again since I’m using some new products.

Base products

 photo aprilfavorites_zps114f8840.jpg

I started April with a little trip to Malaga where I got a sunburn, so ever since then I have been using a lot of my Marc Jacobs Dot body lotion, which smells so nice!

I have also been loving my Victoria Secret Body Spray a lot recently, maybe it’s because spring is upon us and I feel like doing a little more in the morning, but this product is definitely a favorite.

My Orofluido Beauty Elixir is almost empty and I have been using it after ever shower for my hair since I got it in December, it’s just amazing and I love the smell of it!

I also love my Elizabeth Arden deodorant, I just love the fresh smell and I love how it’s l...

L’Oréal True Match Foundation Review!

 photo lorealtruematchfoundation_zps0bdfeefd.jpg

Hi everyone!

Today I’m doing a review on L’Oréal True Match Foundation. I have been reading and hearing about this foundation for ages, but never tried it myself. I don’t usually use L’Oréal, the reason for that is; I think it’s a bit expensive for being drugstore when I compare it to Maybelline and Rimmel and I don’t think it’s better. That’s why I always end up with Rimmel or Maybelline products when shopping.

Outlet with L’Oréal

I was recently at an outlet here in Denmark where L’Oréal had a huge sale with around 80% off and the women working there were really nice. I decided that now was the time to try the foundation and I could get help with the right color directly from L’Oréal.

I ended up with three of these foundations as I got a packed deal for a total of 10 pounds, which is a great price! The woman at L’Oréal suggested that I got the color D2-W2, which is really light with a yellowish undertone.

My Daily Makeup!

Hi beautiful people!

Happy Easter everyone! I hope you are all having fun, enjoying some time off and are eating chocolate.

 photo whatisonmyface_zps5fabd4c4.jpg

I always like to see what makeup people are wearing on a daily basis, some people like a full face of makeup and other just a bit of mascara and concealer. I personally have a full face of makeup for two reasons; one being bad skin that I can cover up and another that I love to experiment with makeup and enjoy the time in front of the mirror in the morning.

My Daily Makeup

I usually start with my Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, then I go over to my Mac Select Cover Up concealer and set everything with my Rimmel Stay Matte powder. I then like using Bourjois Bronzing Powder for either contouring or bronzer, it depends on what I feel like doing that day.

For eyes I switch between my Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo or my Mac Showstopper Palette depending on time. I then like using Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara and their Falsies mascara to finish the eyes.

January Favorites 2014

January is over, can’t believe the first month of 2014 is already gone! I hope everyone has been enjoying the year so far and people are keeping up with their New Year Resolutions. I didn’t really make any this year because I never keep them, I feel like changes need to come from the inside and not because of new the new year.

It’s time for my first favorite post of the year, which is January favorites. Some of my favorites are new products I have found and others are old that I still really like.

Elizabeth Arden

My new Elizabeth Arden skincare system is first on the list of favorites. I bought this in the beginning of January, I have been struggling with bad skin for a while and hope this will help. I have been trying out different skincare systems including Lush, Clinique, La Roche Posay and now it’s time for this one.

Products I Regret Buying!

product_regret_buying

This post is about products I regret buying not all of them are bad, some are just not worth the money or I just don’t understand.

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solution

clinique_blemish_foundation

At first I have the Clinique anti-blemish solution this product isn’t bad or anything, but it’s not worth the money there are so many inexpensive foundation out there just as good. I bought this product with the entire skincare line and I just think everything was bad also the foundation changed color during the first month. I thought I was getting more pale since the foundation was too dark suddenly, but my old Rimmel Wake Me foundation was still a matched to my skin tone.

Maybelline Primer

maybelline_primer

The Maybelline primer well I just don’t understand this product, it’s a light gel and it feels nice on the skin, but it doesn’t ever “dry” so when you use your foundation everything just seems to smudge and become a mess.

Elf Bronzing Powder

Another product or don’t understand is the Elf bronzing powder, I got the light...
