Matrix Exquisite Oil Review!

Hi everyone!

So I’m one of those people who just can’t live without hair oil! Ever since hair oils came out and they suddenly became a big thing I was hooked.

I have tried a couple of different ones and I have to say my favorite so far is the Orofluido Beauty Elixir! It has the perfect texture, doesn’t make my fair greasy or heavy and it smells wonderful!

I have never tried the most famous of all hair oils, the Moroccanoil as I always thought it was a bit too expensive and then I read this blogpost from The Cupid Bow about the silicon in Moroccanoil and now I don’t want to try it.

The Matrix Exquisite Oil

I recently bought the Matrix Exquisite Oil on sale from Beautybay 50% off and have been using it ever since. The smell is again lovely (not as good as the Orofluido one) and it’s really easy to use as it comes with a little pump.

I do feel that I need to think about how much I use of this as my hair sometimes get a bit greasy from it and heavy, which is such a downside.

Rimmel 60 Seconds Rita Ora Nail Polishes Review!

Hi everyone!

I have been gone for a couple of weeks, but hopefully I’m back now. I have been enjoying summer, but also not feeling myself a 100% which is also why I haven’t taken much part in the Twitter Chats and other blogging activities, but it’s time to get back to reality now.

Rita Ora Nail Polishes

I recently bought two of the 60 Seconds Rita Ora Nail Polishes from Rimmel because the colors are so beautiful. You can get the perfect summer pastel colors, but the range also carry some lovely colors for fall.

I got Pillow Talk (the one I’m wearing in the picture) and White Hot Love (the lovely white color). I have been really impressed by the colors, they are so pigmented especially for such light colors and the staying power is great as well, which is around a week.

The only complain I have about these nail polishes is the brush, which is useless! I made a mess with both colors, but other than that I can only recommend them.

Have you tried this range of nail polishes?

Battle Of The Eyeliners!

Hi everyone!

Today I’m doing a little high end versus drugstore gel eyeliners. I will be comparing Lancôme Long Wear Calligraphy Gel EyeLiner and Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner.

Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Eyeliner

The Maybelline eyeliner is around £8 and is a highly popular eyeliner. The texture of the eyeliner is perfect, it’s not too hard or fluid, but just right and easy to work with. It’s really pigmented and the result is great!

Lancôme Long Wear Gel Eyeliner

The Lancôme eyeliner is around £20 and it’s not as well-known as other gel eyeliners like Maybelline, Mac and Bobbi Brown. I got this eyeliner for only £5 at a sale, which is the only reason why I bought it.

In the beginning I didn’t like much since I thought it was a too hard to work with as it’s a bit more stiff than the Maybelline one and I was used to Maybelline. The color payoff is the same as with the Maybelline one, so I wasn’t really impressed.

Which is better?

Here comes the re...

Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Review!

Hi everyone!

Today I’m sharing my experience with the Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skincare series. I bought the entire line for combination skin back in January on sale where I got 50% off everything.

I have been trying it out ever since and I’m now ready to do a review, as I feel like I have used for a long time now.

I have actually gone through the entire series and used every single product up.

Products In The Series!

The series starts with an exfoliating cleanser, which feels nice and it’s not too hard on the skin so you can easily use it every day.

You then use a toner to remove anything extra on the skin. I don’t feel like this toner is special in any way as it just feels and smells like a normal toner.

You then use the skin serum, which I didn’t like at all. This was the first serum I ever used and I didn’t really get the point of it...

Lindsey Kelk – About A Girl Review!

Hi everyone!

As some of you might know I really like Lindsey Kelk’s “I Heart series”. Lindsey Kelk is a British author living in New York City and she has written an amazing series about Angela Clark’s escape from London to New York City. I have a review on the first book in the series “I Heart New York” and the second book “I Heart Hollywood”, but I did read the entire series!

Lindsey Kelk’s Writing

I love Lindsey Kelk’s fun and easy writing style, she writes the perfect chick lit books! They are a good combination between Sex and the City and Bridget Jones. That’s why I decided I wanted to read her book “About A Girl” and I knew the second book “What A Girl Wants” was on its way and I’m so glad I read “About A Girl”!

About A Girl Review

In “About A Girl” we meet Tess Brookes, who gets fired from her job and after accidentally answering her flatmate Vanessa’s phone, she decides that since being Tess isn’t going so well, she might try being Vanessa...

L’Oréal True Match Foundation Review!

 photo lorealtruematchfoundation_zps0bdfeefd.jpg

Hi everyone!

Today I’m doing a review on L’Oréal True Match Foundation. I have been reading and hearing about this foundation for ages, but never tried it myself. I don’t usually use L’Oréal, the reason for that is; I think it’s a bit expensive for being drugstore when I compare it to Maybelline and Rimmel and I don’t think it’s better. That’s why I always end up with Rimmel or Maybelline products when shopping.

Outlet with L’Oréal

I was recently at an outlet here in Denmark where L’Oréal had a huge sale with around 80% off and the women working there were really nice. I decided that now was the time to try the foundation and I could get help with the right color directly from L’Oréal.

I ended up with three of these foundations as I got a packed deal for a total of 10 pounds, which is a great price! The woman at L’Oréal suggested that I got the color D2-W2, which is really light with a yellowish undertone.

Divergent Review!

Divergent finally opened in Denmark today! I have been so excited since I read the book back in 2012 and I have just been waiting and waiting and waiting ever since. Today was the day I finally got to watch the film and I’m so happy.

Actors and actresses

I’m really happy by with the actors and actresses they choose for this movie! I was a bit skeptical about Theo James as Four to begin with, but he did such a good job that I ended up loving him. The movie also includes Shailene Woodley (main character Tris), Miles Tiller, Kate Winslet, Tony Goldwyn, Ansel Elgort and Maggie Q and I especially love Maggie Q (brilliant as Nikita).

Review of Divergent

I think the screen writers did a great job of capturing the book and I don’t feel like they missed some major parts of the book like with Harry Potter and Twilight...

Zoeva Brushes Review!

Hi everyone!

I’m really excited to share my Zoeva Brushes Review with all of you today! First of all I’m pretty sure I’m addicted to makeup brushes, but that’s because I don’t care about expensive makeup as long as you got good brushes to work with!

 photo zoevabrushes_zps4bc6428d.jpg

I have been wanting to try these brushes for so long, but I thought the delivery was a bit expensive €7,5 so when my friend and I both wanted to try them we decided to order together and share the delivery cost. We looked at a lot of pages to find the best prices and buying directly from Zoeva was just the most inexpensive solution!

 photo zoevabrushbag_zpsdb3b3f59.jpg

I got six brushes, where most of them are made from a combination of natural and synthetic hair. I have almost all the Real Techniques brushes, which are all synthetic and I really wanted some brushes with natural hair because they pick up pigment in another way.

Orofluido Review!

Hi everyone!

Do you know the brand Orofluido? It’s not as famous as other hair brands, like Macademia and Moroccanoil, but it’s good and that’s why I decided to a review on it today. A couple of years ago I got a little tester of the hair oil and it was actually my first ever try with hair oils. Now a few years later, I decided to invest in the full size shampoo, conditioner and hair oil and I’m so glad I did!

Perfect for dry scalp

I have been struggling with really dry scalp almost my entire life, I have tried different expensive hair care like Redken for dry scalp, KMS, Macadamia, BIO+ and Kérastase and nothing ever helped. In the end I got a shampoo from my doctor, which definitely took the worst, but it still wasn’t perfect. After getting Orofluido my scalp is finally in peace, I don’t have dry scalp anymore!

Tanya Burr Lips And Nails Review!

Hi everyone!

Today is a review on Tanya Burr Lips and Nails! My package from Feelunique finally arrived on Friday after waiting forever! I ordered the same night the products went live on Feelunique and it took half a month to get here!

tanya-burr-lips-and-nails

I was so excited to get the package! I ordered one nail polish Mini Marshmallows and one lipgloss Let’s Travel The World. Tanya Burr is probably my favorite Youtuber, so I was so excited when I heard she was releasing a budget friendly makeup brand. The collection is beautiful with so many nice colors and sweet names Tanya Burr did really well here!

Let’s Travel The World Lipgloss

tanya-burr-lets-travel-the-world

The lipgloss is a gorgeous red color and it smells amazing, kind of like strawberries. It’s really easy to put on and you can build the color for a more vibrant look and it’s really easy to take off again. It’s great for everyday use on its own and if you are going out or just want more color, then it’s great with a red lipliner underneath...
